REDNECK GARDEN

By Dale E McPherson

PIC-0135

I have been growing my Garden in tires now for 4 years. I started with
10 tires to see how it would work. I now have a 162. So far it has
worked better than I ever thought. It's no doubt,a no till garden. The
first 3 years I would just use the weed eater around the tires. This
year I've been using Round-Up around the tires and this has worked
well so far. I have not found to much information on tire gardening
other than some on growing potatoes and strawberries. I was wondering
if anyone else has tried it.  I call it a
RedNeck Garden. I live in the country in Tn. You know, If you raise
your Garden in old tires, You might be a RedNeck!
